Engin Kupeli, known as “MAJ3R,” is a 29-year-old Turkish/French CS:GO player who has been playing for Turkey5 since January 2020. Before that, he had played for teams like Team LDLC, Space Soldiers, and many more.

Yesterday, on his official Twitter account, MAJ3R shared his thoughts about the differences between online and LAN Counter-Strike and admitted that they were much more confident in online tournaments back in the days with Space Soldiers.

Here is what MAJ3R said:

“Online cs: Players play with confidence because they are in a familiar environment and do things they ll never do in lan with all the stress. The team likes Astralis, NaVi, Liquid who only play on lan are not used to play some T2 teams Online and we ll see a lot of surprises a lot.

The Best example I can give it was us SS, we were so confident online like any team we were able to beat them but when we played on lan the experience of t1 teams make all the difference, even if we wanted to play the same way, psychologically it was impossible, different game…”

A fan named Steve added this comment:

“I was thinking about you guys when talking about the shift to online in owl and lcs.”

Another fan named Jacques replied:

“Let’s not take away from NiP performance in the last month. Would love to see what their scrim schedule was like.”
