G2 Esports’ huNter: “My Goal Was Playing With Niko Since I Started To Play CS:GO”

Nemanja Kovač, known as “huNter,” is a 25-year-old Bosnian CS:GO player who has been playing under G2 Esports jersey for over one and a half years. Previously, he was representing CR4ZY and Valiance.
On the other hand, Nikola “NiKo” Kovač is a 24-year-old player who is the cousin of huNter, but he joined G2 Esports back in October 2020 to play alongside his cousin. Before that, he was playing for FaZe Clan.
During a recent appearance on ESL, huNter talked about his desire to play Counter-Strike as well as revealed his main goal in the game, which is unsurprisingly playing with his cousin Niko.
Back in the days, Niko was dominating the scene alongside s1mple and Coldzera. However, the community didn’t know about huNter, who just recently started his career in the Balkans and competing in low-tier tournaments.
Unlike every other player who would love to win lots of trophies and MVP aways, huNter revealed that his main goal was always playing alongside Niko since he started his CS:GO career back in the day.
Furthermore, huNter also mentioned that it feels great to play with Niko under G2 Esports jersey. As huNter said, it was really important for him to see Niko joining his team because it shows how much he improved during this period.
huNter said:
“I just wanted to play with him [Niko]. My goal was to play with him since I started to play CS:GO. My goal wasn’t to win any trophies, to win any majors or whatever, my first goal was to play with him and try to win everything with him.
So he is here now, its a great feeling having him next to me and playing together. It is really something that I was looking for a lot and especially because I bring him into my team, not him bringing me into his team.”
