G2 Esports League Of Legends Player Caps, Here Is The Net Income In 2020 So Far

Rasmus Borregaard Winther, known as “Caps,” is a 20-year-old Danish League Of Legends player who has been playing under G2 Esports jersey for almost two years. In his career, he earned over $500.000 from the events.

In 2020, G2 Esports and Caps performed pretty well in the tournaments and got the trophies in LEC as expected. Before League Of Legends World Championship ended, let’s look at how G2 Esports earned their spot and how much money did they earned so far.

In the LEC Spring 2020 – Group Stage, Caps and his colleagues started pretty well against MAD Lions in their first match, and Caps earned the MVP award of the match. Afterward, G2 Esports didn’t lose a single match until the fourth week.

In February, they faced against Misfist and stunned by the underdogs. The next day, G2 Esports and Caps saddened by Schalke 04 Esports, and the whole League Of Legends scene was shocked after these results.

In the next week, they overcame Excel Esports and showed their power once again. However, Caps and his colleagues didn’t show up tomorrow and lost the match against MAD Lions. But, G2 Esports was ready to prove themselves.

Losing the MAD Lions was a motivation source for them, and they didn’t lose a single match until the group stage ended. After this remarkable performance, they finished the tournament in the first place ahead of Fnatic.

In the playoffs, G2 Esports lost to MAD Lions again and needed to get up from the lower bracket. Fortunately for them, they are one of the special teams that could manage go went the finals from Losers’ Bracket. In the finals, they faced against Fnatic and won the series with 3-0.

Although G2 Esports did an awesome job in the Spring split, they couldn’t perform that well in the group stage of the LEC Summer 2020. Happily for G2 and Caps, they managed to qualify for the playoffs.

In the quarterfinals, G2 Esports edge away MAD Lions with 3-1 and faced against Fnatic in the semifinals. Even though they lost the series with 2-3, the managed to win against Rogue in the Losers’ Finals.

In the final match, they faced Fnatic yet again and this was the chance for G2 to find their revenge. At the moment the match started, G2 Esports dominated the matchup and won the trophy. Also, Caps awarded the most valuable player prize for the split.

Following these two tournaments and trophies, Caps earned $36.320 so far in 2020, and he is highly expected to raise his number during the League Of Legends World Championship.
