G2 Esports’ Mikyx Compares Playing With Perkz And Rekkles

Mihael Mehle, known as “Mikyx,” is a 22-year-old Slovenian League Of Legends player who has been representing G2 Esports for over two years. Before that, he had been playing for Misfits Gaming.
After getting eliminated from LEC Summer 2021, Mikyx spoke in a recent interview with Korizon Esports’ Ashley Kang and revealed the differences between playing with Luka “Perkz” Perković and Martin “Rekkles” Larsson.
In the conversation, Mikyx praised both of their talents and stated that there is no way to tell who is a better player. Then, he compared how he played the game around these players in the bot lane.
Furthermore, Mikyx pointed out that he roamed a lot while playing with Rekkles because he knew that the Swedish AD carry would survive and play the lane correctly. On the other hand, he mentioned that he would stay with Perkz to prevent him from dying in the bot lane.
Moreover, Mikyx touched upon the fact that Perkz suited better in G2 Esports because they could pick more flex champions that make their champion selection process even better, and explained why it was power to play with a mid laner who transitioned to ADC role.
Mikyx compared Perkz and Rekkles:
“I think gameplay-wise, Rekkles played pretty well for the majority of the games. I was really fine leaving him alone 2v1. I would just roam, and he would probably be farming up and still be useful.
Perkz, I had to kind of play around him and I had to make sure he doesn’t die. They are both good in their own way. They are just different players.
Maybe Perkz is a player who was better for our team because we could flex more champions I guess. But I can’t really say who was better. I guess result-wise, you can say it [Perkz was better] now.”
