Óscar Cañellas Colocho, known as “Mixwell,” is a 26-year-old Spanish former CS:GO player who had played for teams like Cloud9, Optic Gaming, and more. Since June 2020, he has been playing VALORANT for G2 Esports.

Mixwell was an AWP player in Counter-Strike, and he started to use Jett as soon as he transitioned to VALORANT to use his incredible AWPing skills with such a great agent. However, he hasn’t played with Jett or entry roles consistently for months.

Even though G2 Esports dominated Europe in the early days of VALORANT esports, they struggled about a year after their domination. Unfortunately, couldn’t find their way to get back to the top once again.

Yesterday, Mixwell explained why he hasn’t been using Jett for a while by sharing a new post on his official Twitter account and also revealed his opinion about the current state of the G2 Esports roster.

In the tweet, the experienced player touched upon the fact that their Sentinel/Flex player Jacob “pyth” Mourujärvi decided to bench himself back in June, and they couldn’t find anybody to replace him.

Mixwell pointed out that people need to do anything for their team, and therefore, he wanted to step in for his team and undertake the Sentinel/Flex role. Later on, he also said that he is not happy about how the team plays right now.

Mixwell talked about his new role:

“People forgot that I rerolled to centinel/flex role because Jacob benched himself and we couldn’t find a player to replace him.

You do what you can to help your team, we almost made Champions with 0 points in the last Masters. I am not happy with the result but I am proud.”
