G2 Esports Player Pengu Admits: “Rainbow Six Siege Is Going Backward”

23-year-old Danish Rainbow Six Siege player Niclas Mouritzen, known as “Pengu,” is considered one of the best players in the game. Since August 2018, he has been playing for G2 Esports.
Pengu took to his official Twitter account to share a new post and revealed his thoughts about the current state of the game while everybody was calling Siege a dead game.
In the tweet, Pengu stated that he is so tired to see the comments like these and showed the numbers of players that plays the game to prove the game is not dead. However, Pengu admitted Siege is going backward right now and heading in the wrong direction.
Here is what Pengu said:
“I am so tired of seeing ‘siege is a dead game’ Siege used to have 7000 players on steam with instant games all day.
Siege is going backwards in numbers and stagnating, limiting growth, yes. But it is by no means a dead game. We’re just heading in the wrong direction in my opinion.
Siege was a game seemed hopeless in success and growth for years, but look where we were during our peak. And we just gotta find a way back and make some good decisions.”
