G2 Esports Player Pengu Is Struggling With This Feature In The Rainbow Six Siege

Niclas Mouritzen, known as “Pengu” is a 22-year-old Danish Rainbow Six Siege player who has been playing for G2 Esports since August 2018. Before that, he was playing for PENTA Esports. He won over $320.000 from the tournaments in 3 years. On 25 October, he shared his thoughts about the bullet holes.

Pengu said:

“I still have super mixed opinions on bulletholes, I love the strategical aspect & dynamic map, but between that and looking at the ceiling for cams, floor for traps & pixel angles, I have a very hard time justifying it as a “good” mechanic, dying to holes I cannot see”

Evil Geniuses player Necrox replied:

“Dont forget the minigame of Finding Waldo that we have to play inorder to see people with camos now too. I agree bullet holes on top of all of that is a bit much rn”

Caster Interro said:

“I’ve never been a fan of the bullethole peaking going on. Agreed.”

Pengu replied:

“Would you be against making it just a dark hole? like most other games? would it be terrible for the game going forward? I know its hard to change core mechanics so late, but its getting to a really abusable state”
