Ben McMillan, known as “CTZN,” is a 21-year-old British Rainbow Six Siege player who has been representing G2 Esports for over seven months. Before that, he was playing for Natus Vincere.

CTZN took to his official Twitter account to share his thoughts about Ash’s current position in the current meta and explained why this meta ruined Ash’s potential.

For a while, the Rainbow Six Siege professional scene has been suffering due to the 30-second meta, which is the meta that force you to enter a bombsite in less than 30 seconds due to the clearing the defenders’ gadgets in the entire round.

Because of this meta, CTZN claimed that Ash became a support operator instead of entry fragging. He stated that you needed to clear the gadgets like ADS’s, shileds, and more, just to enter the side, which makes you have zero utility while trying to kill an enemy.

Here is what CTZN said:

“Ash role isn’t cursed, Ash has been a support for a while now. You have to waste ADS’s, clear shields AND then be first in the room to try and get entry with no utility left to help you. This meta has ruined the role of ash in my humble opinion.”
