Niclas Mouritzen, known as “Pengu,” is a 22-year-old Danish Rainbow Six Siege player who has been playing under G2 Esports jersey for over one and a half years. In his career, he earned over $300.000 from the tournaments and become one of the most earning players in the scene.

Pengu has shared a new post on his official Twitter account and shared his opinion about the barbed wire feature in the game. He stated that barbed wires are too weak in the meta, and they will add great mechanics into the game if they will be buffed.

Here is what Pengu said:

“I think its time to revamp/buff barbed wire, the hitbox is just too big, and you can’t even put it in a good position due to it. either its too far down and they can wide peek the angle ignoring the barbed wire.

Or its too far up and they’ll punch it safely.  You should be knifing the middle of the barbed wire, rather than the very edge of it.”

Team Secret coach Helbee replied:

“Used to be 3 hits and only in the middle part. I’d 100% revert one of the two nerf back in the game!”

A fan named Alex replied:

“The last thing the defenders need is more or better utility. Barbed wire slows down the attackers’ push, absorbs their utility in some cases, and the sound of them punching it or moving through it acts as an early warning to the defenders. Does it really need to do more?”
