22-year-old Danish Rainbow Six Siege player Niclas Mouritzen, known as “Pengu,” has been playing under G2 Esports for almost a year. In his career, he earned over $300.000 from the events that he attended.

Pengu has replied to a tweet of DarkZero Esports player Hotancold, which was saying that Coastline is not a competitive map, and revealed his opinion about the map.

Pengu didn’t agree with Hotancold and stated that Coastline is exactly a map that Rainbow Six Siege wanted. He said that even though it is not an execution based map, Coastline has it’s own playstyle.

Here is what Hotancold said earlier:

“There’s no way people think Coastline is more competitive than Bank… Right?”

After Pengu replying with the question marks, Hotancold wrote:

“Coastline is not Siege.”

Pengu replied:

“It’s exactly siege, it’s a different aspect than execution based maps like bank/club diversity is great and it challenges teams that are heavy on execution and favors frag heavy teams we need diversity or one play style is favored over others?”

Hotancold replied:

“Our team has been pretty strong at coast as of recent, because of adding Sky’s and Ecl9pse. This game was designed around playing with a hard breach, and taking map control as a team. While as coastline is literally just 5 fragging ops who can win by never even going in the map.”

Pengu said:

“I’m not saying you’re bad at the map, just saying you’re an execution team and you’re incredibly good at it too – you can play hard breach on coast if you really wanted to, it just isn’t a requirement like bank or club is, villa is similar to a degree.”

Hotancold wrote:

“All I’m saying is that maps layout is unlike anything in siege atm, and (although I do love getting off of thermite to play buck/Zofia) it just doesn’t feel like siege to me. Coastline used to be my favorite map in the past because it let me play super aggressive. It needs a change”

Pengu replied:

“The big thing I dislike is how much map control the roof gives you / denies defenders, it’s an angle you should rarely if ever win if you take a gunfight, attackers shouldn’t gain that much from sitting outside the map.”
