David Prins, known as “davidp,” is a 25-year-old Belgian former CS:GO player who had played for teams like Team Heretics, 3DMAX, and more. Since July 2020, he has been playing Valorant for G2 Esports.

Yesterday, davidp left the match in the middle of the tournament, and afterward, he announced the devastating death of his father.

He took to his official Twitter account to share this information with the community and saddened the whole scene. Also, davidp explained how he is feeling right now and said that he will make him proud by being a better version of himself.

Here is what davidp wrote:

“My father just left this world while I was playing a tournament how bad can life be with me, how fucking bad? I regret so many things, I regret that I didn’t spend time with you lately, I regret that I didn’t say that I loved you from years, I’ll miss you, Papa.

I have tears that flow just from reading what people can write to me… You’re amazing people, I wish I could say to my dad that I love him.”

Davidp shared a picture of his dad and said:

“I’ll always love you Daddy. I’ll make you proud by being a better version of myself every single day.”
