24-year-old Spanish former CS:GO player Oscar “Mixwell” Cañellas Colocho had played for teams like Movistar Riders, Cloud9, and more. Since June 2020, he has been playing Valorant for G2 Esports.

Mixwell took to his official Twitter account to share a new post yesterday and called out the casual players who say the sniper rifle ‘Operator’ needs a nerf.

In the tweet, Mixwell stated that we should teach how to counter Operator and how to enjoy Valorant more. He hoped that they will stop acting like Operator needs a nerf. In this way, Mixwell revealed that Operator is actually a balanced weapon, even though there are lots of voices in the community that says otherwise.

Here is what Mixwell said:

“We should worry more about teaching the new/casual players on how to counter the Operator and stop acting like the weapon needs a nerf, the more we teach them how to counter it the better their experience will be.

I will do a youtube video with English subtitles on this matter and try to help as much as I can. Hopefully, this can help grow our community and enjoy Valorant more.”

Famous content creator LeX replied:

“Or, we can continue acting like the weapon doesn’t need a nerf and continue acting as though the game experience is perfect. Heads buried just enough to pretend it’s fun.”
