Gwak Bo-seong, known as “Bdd,” is a 22-year-old South Korean League Of Legends player who has been playing under Gen.G Esports jersey for almost two years. Before that, he was playing for KT Rolster.

Bdd and Gen.G managed to overcome Cloud9 in the quarterfinals of the League Of Legends World Championship, and after the matchup, Bdd spoke in a post-match interview and talked about the event.

In the conversation, Bdd revealed the one thing he learned from the Worlds and said that none of the Western mid laners don’t care about the laning phase or they are not really good at it.

The same kind of statement made by DAMWON Gaming’s top laner Kim “Khan” Dong-ha recently, who stated that the Western top laners are pretty weak at laning and wasn’t threatened by them at all.

Therefore, Bdd mentioned that facing Luka “Perkz” Perković wasn’t really hard for him and said that everything went as he expected because they already knew Cloud9 would play on through their mid laners.

Bdd on facing Cloud9 and Perkz:

“We improve by talking amongst ourselves the things that we lack. In terms of the series, we felt that Cloud9 only played through their mid lane; things like that.

One thing I’ve personally learned from this year’s Worlds is that Western mid laners don’t really care about laning nor are they very good at it. So things went as I expected.”

Later in the conversation, Bdd also talked about facing EDward Gaming in the semifinals of Worlds and said that even though their series against Royal Never Give Up was tough, they need to prepare well against them.
