Guild Esports is a British organization that entered the Valorant esports scene by signing the Bonk roster back in October 2020. However, the squad couldn’t compete in high-tier events since the beginning.

Following such results, Guild Esports decided to part ways with their veteran player William “draken” Sundin, who is a former CS:GO player known for his time with Ninjas In Pyjamas and Fnatic.

“Today, we are parting ways with Draken as we move towards the next stage of VCT,” Guild Esports announced. “We would like to thank William for all of his hard work, dedication and the great moments we had during his time with Guild. We wish him all the best in the future.”

As the organization announced the departure of Draken, the Swedish player also thanked Guild for the opportunity and wished good luck for his former teammates for the future while explaining how good teammates they are.

Furthermore, Draken also mentioned that Guild Esports is such a great organization that takes care of their players and said that it was a pleasure for him to play under Guild jersey.

Here is what Draken wrote:

“Thank you for this time with Guild. I have evolved so much as a player and as a person due to Yacine, Malcolm, Leo, Sayf & André. I truly wish you the best and good fortune but it’s time for me to take the next step.

I’m very driven to compete more but I’m taking June/July off from competitive gaming. This sport takes a toll on us even though we might not notice it sometimes. I’ll be spending time with friends & family to reload my batteries and be prepared for the next journey.”
