Jeong Ji-hoon, known as “Chovy,” is a 20-year-old South Korean League Of Legends player who is considered the one of the best mid laners in the world. Since November 2020, he has been playing for Hanwha Life Esports.

Chovy is a mid laner who made a name for himself with his wave management, one-versus-one skills, lane dominance, and especially, minion counts. Therefore, the League Of Legends community is so excited to see him facing the best mid laners in the Worlds 2021.

While most of the community think that Tryndemire mid would be a surprise pick for the League Of Legends World Championship 2021, Chovy revealed that he has another surprise pick that most people didn’t know.

In the conversation with Korizon Esports, Ashley Kang asked Chovy about his Vi picks in the solo queue, and Chovy admitted that he has been experimenting with the Vi pick in the mid lane.

Chovy explained why he decided to try Vi out by saying that he saw a person who started with three Rejuvenation Beads on Vi, which brings her health generation to 25, and said that Vi has sustained damage at the same time.

Chovy on his Vi pick:

I saw someone build a mid-lane Vi that starts with three Rejuvenation Beads. I realize that pushes up Vi’s health regen to 25.

I thought to myself — That’s some great lane sustain. Also, Vi has really high numbers when it comes to sustained damage. I’ve been experimenting with that pick.”
