Here Is Why Riot Games Is Better Than Valve

Published

on

The comparison between Riot Games and Valve started when Riot Games entered the FPS scene with the release of Valorant, which looks similar to CS:GO, and since then, they have been showing what a true company should look like.

Since the release of Valorant, Riot Games have been listening to the community as well as the professional players, and they have been making competitive changes into Valorant to make the game better.

On the other hand, Valve is a company that is hard to reach, even professional players can’t give and receive feedback from the company. Even when the big bug and exploits happen, the developers respond too late to the community.

Yesterday, Riot Games proved once again that they are caring about the community after making a change in the ‘white noise,’ which is a feature that is used for players to block any hearable sound in the LAN events besides the computer sound.

For the last couple of days, most of the players in the community have been complaining about the white noise such as Oscar “mixwell” Cañellas Colocho, saying that they are making it harder to hear in-game sounds.

However, Riot Games announced via Twitter that they decided to reduce the white noise level in order to improve audio quality for competitors. Also, they pointed out that they will constantly improve the situation throughout the tournament.

Here is the official announcement from Riot Games:

“To improve the audio quality for competitors, we have made modifications to the Masters Berlin set that will allow for a much lower level of white noise. We will continue to actively improve the situation as the event progresses.”
