Jeong Ji-hoon, known as “Chovy,” is a 20-year-old South Korean League Of Legends player who is considered one of the best mid laners in the world. Since November 2020, he has been playing for Hanwha Life Esports.

Hanwha Life Esports managed to qualify for the 2021 League Of Legends World Championship group stage after passing the play-in stage, and they received two loses and one victory in their group.

After their last match before the break, which was against Royal Never Give Up, Chovy spoke in the post-match interview and talked about their performances, the futures of League Of Legends, and more.

In the conversation, Chovy named another mid laner, Heo “Showmaker” Su, who has been playing for DAMWON Gaming, as one of the players who can lead the game in the future and praised his talent.

Furthermore, Chovy pointed out that another player from DAMWON Gaming, Kim “Canyon” Geon-bu, is actually the second player who is the future of League Of Legends and showed his respect for his colleagues.

Chovy on the futures of League Of Legends:

“I think ShowMaker should definitely be considered as a player that is leading League. And if I must pick one — Canyon. I will go with Canyon and ShowMaker.”
