“I Looked Up To F0rest” Ninjas In Pyjamas CS:GO Player Nawwk Says

Tim Jonasson, known as “Nawwk,” is a 22-year-old Swedish CS:GO player who has been playing under Ninjas In Pyjamas jersey for over ten months. Before that, he was playing for Team GamerLegion.

Nawwk spoke in a recent interview with Inven Global and revealed the player who inspired him a lot when he was young, praising the talent of legendary Ninjas In Pyjamas player f0rest, who has been playing for Dignitas since 2020.

In the conversation, Nawwk pointed out that f0rest could pick up the AWP sometimes, and he was also a good rifle player. Because of that, he mostly looked up to f0rest as a player. While mentioning it is not about the individual plays, he also stated that they were a better team back in the days and that’s why he wanted to play in Ninjas In Pyjamas back then.

Interviewer asked:

“Now let’s go back in time: back when you started in 2014, NiP was at the peak of its strength for quite a while. Looking back, what did you see in them?”

Nawwk replied:

“It’s a pretty cliché answer, but I saw quite a legendary team: GeT_RiGhT, F0rest, the whole lineup was very skilled. Of course, I looked up to them, and I’ve always wanted to join a big Swedish team — either FNATIC or NiP.”

Interviewer asked:

“Any player you drew inspiration from in terms of gameplay from that lineup?”

Nawwk said:

“I guess I looked up to F0rest since he picked that AWP sometimes, and he’s also a really good rifler. If I had to pick a player, it would be him; but I don’t think I looked up to one individual: it was more like I wanted to play in that team. I didn’t have a favorite player.”
