Julia Kiran, known as “Juliano,” is a 27-year-old Swedish female CS:GO player who had played for top-tier teams like Team Secret, Beşiktaş Esports, and many more. Most recently, she was playing for XSET.

Last month, she announced her retirement from the game. While announcing her retirement from Counter-Strike, the experienced in-game leader also pointed out that they are going to switch to VALORANT with the whole XSET roster.

Since then, the community had been waiting to hear news about their journey in VALORANT. Yesterday, G2 Esports announced that they signed the whole XSET roster with the exception of Anastasia “kr4sylya” Khlobystina.

Furthermore, the name of the team is announced as ‘G2 Gozen,’ and CEO of the organization Carlos ‘Ocelote’ Rodriguez mentioned that they are the best female players in the VALORANT scene right now.

“To me they aren’t a female team, they are our VALORANT team.  At G2, we build teams and bring in players based on skill and brand fit,” Ocelote said. “These are amongst the best female players in the world and we’re proud to have them.”

Super happy and completely thrilled to announce that I’m now part of G2 Esports,” Petra showed her excitement about joining such an organization.I’m extremely grateful to play for such an organization and I can’t wait to get started! A new journey begins.”

Here’s the official announcement from G2 Esports:

“Watch them. Welcome G2 Gozen VALORANT to the G2 Army.”
