KennyS On ZywOo Becoming The Best French AWPer: “It Was Harsh For Me”

Kenny Schrub, known as “KennyS,” is a 26-year-old French CS:GO player who had played for top-tier teams like Team Envy, Team Titan, and many more. Right now, he is under contract with G2 Esports.

Back in the day, Kenny was considered the best AWP player in the world, but he started to downfall after Valve nerfed the AWP. Since then, he had been inconsistent in the server, which is why he got benched on the G2 Esports.

On the other side of the coin, Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut started to dominate in his rookie year of top-tier Counter-Strike at the age of 18, and he has become the best player in the world two years in a row.

During a recent interview with Zack, Kenny talked about his career highlights, good old memories, and more. Also, he shared his feelings about ZywOo and him being the best AWP player in France.

In the conversation, Kenny mentioned that it was really hard for him to accept ZywOo has become the best French AWP player and admitted that he was even a bit jealous about his performance.

Even though ZywOo is a really strong and lovely person, Kenny was annoyed to see ZywOo at the top. Not because of if ZywOo had more talent or not, but because he knew ZywOo was better than himself.

Furthermore, Kenny pointed out that ZywOo arrived at the scene at the top and delivered really well because these are his tryhard years in the game. However, he stated that his tryhard days were years ago.

KennyS shared his opinion about ZywOo and taking his crown:

“It was harsh. It pushed my ego at some point. At the start it was really hard. I was even a bit jealous. Honestly.

It’s never the best reaction to have. Moreover, he is a lovely guy, really strong, nothing to say. But I was annoyed. I was annoyed because I knew, even if I had more talent, or not, it’s not the question, I knew that, he was ahead of me.

The guy arrived at the top. He was in his try hard period. And mine was long ago. Very long time ago.”
