Greyson Gilmer, known as “Goldenglue,” is a 23-year-old American League Of Legends player who had been playing for Golden Guardians since November 2019. Before that, he had played for Cloud9, Team Liquid, and more.

Golden Guardians made a new statement on the official Twitter account and revealed that they decided to sent Goldenglue to the academy roster. Also, they added Tanner “Damonte” Damonte from the Dignitas Academy.

After getting this news about the roster changes, Goldenglue was loss of words. He stated that this was a really unexpected and surprising change for him. Also, he wrote that he won’t stop to fight until he prove that he is an LCS mid laner.

Here is the announcement from Golden Guardians:

To strengthen our LCS team in the Mid lane, we are excited to announce that former Worlds competitor, Damonte will be joining the Golden Guardians as our starting LCS Mid for the 2020 Summer Split!”

Here is the reaction from Goldenglue:

“I’m kind of at a loss of words because this was a very unexpected and surprising change for me. I know that I’m an LCS caliber Mid, so I won’t stop fighting. I will try to provide more details soon.

Just for clarification because some people are asking, I was told this was happening prior to this post I am more speaking about being speechless about finding myself in the situation that I am currently in.”

Damonte said on his transfer:

“Let’s f*cking go!”
