Legendary Dota 2 Player Universe Announces His Retirement

Saahil Arora, known as “Universe,” is a 30-year-old American Dota 2 player who had played for teams like Team Dignitas, Evil Geniuses, Fnatic, and more. Lastly, he was playing for Ninjas In Pyjamas. In his career, he earned over $3.000.000 from the events.

Universe has shared a new TwitLonger post on his official Twitter account and made a sad retirement announcement.

In the statement, Universe stated that he gave everything to Dota 2 for the past ten years and thanked everybody for the good memories. Also, he said that he will figure out what will come next for his career.

Here is what Universe said:

“I have decided to retire as a player from competitive Dota 2. Whenever I do anything in life I tend to be an all or nothing type of person and Dota was no different. For the past 10 years, I have given everything I have to this game/competition and it was an incredible experience.

Now, the time has come to pursue other interests and figure out what comes next. Thank you to my fans and past teammates for the amazing memories I will never forget.”
