Macie Jay On Rainbow Six Siege’s Current Meta: “It Is The Best It’s Ever Been”

Twitch streamer and content creator for Team SoloMid, Macie Jay, took his official Twitter account to share a new post and shared his opinion on the current meta of Rainbow Six Siege.

Retired professional player Niclas “Pengu” Mouritzen asked his followers if they enjoy Rainbow Six Siege or not, and most of the community started to give feedback as well as Macie.

In the post, Macie Jay mentioned that Rainbow Six Siege’s meta is by far the best it has ever been due to being flexible strategies that allow you to play with both guns and utilities.

As you may recall, the game suffered last year in the 30-second meta where every team needs to clear the utility until attacking to the bombsite, which leaves them only around thirty seconds to deal with.

But, Ubisoft decided to fix the meta following the huge callouts last year with season 5, especially following the nerfs of Goyo, Lesion, Maestro, Wamai, and more.

However, Macie admitted that there are three things that ruin the good experience of Rainbow Six Siege, which are camouflage skins, sound bugs, and the behavior of the community.

Macie Jay wrote:

“In terms of balance/meta Siege is the best it’s ever been, strategy is flexible and the perfect mix of gunplay and utility. The 3 things that kill vibes are camouflage, sound bugs, and the community not playing proper Siege (TDM). But when it works it’s still an incredible game.”
