Johannes Borup, known as “b0RUP,” is a 21-year-old Danish CS:GO player who had been playing for Heroic since April 2020. Previously, he played for teams like Tricked Esports and North Academy.

MAD Lions took their official Twitter account to share a new post yesterday and announced the signing of b0RUP into their international roster, which has now become a six-man roster.

On the other hand, b0RUP also shared his feelings about joining MAD Lions and stated that he is so excited to join MAD Lions and looking forward to the future. As b0RUP said, they have lots of work to do and they know how to get it done.

Furthermore, MAD Lions’ coach Jakub “kuben” Gurczyński pointed out that bringing a new experienced player with a similar philosophy how they wanted to approach the game will make them a better team.

“At the start of this season, the role of IGL was taken over by TMB, hence our idea to bring a second high-profile Danish player to the squad to get a similar philosophy of the way we can play the game,” kuben said. “We believe that by combining the experience that b0RUP will bring to the team and the youth’s hunger for success, we will improve our results from the previous few months.”

b0RUP on joining MAD Lions:

“Time for a new chapter in my career! Looking forward to getting started with the team, we have a lot of work ahead of us and we know exactly how to approach it.”
