Denis Sharipov, known as “electronic,” is a 21-year-old Russian CS:GO player who has been playing for Natus Vincere since November 2017. Before that, he was playing for FlipSid3 Tactics. On the other hand, Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovács had re-joined the team with high hopes in September 2019 and benched after three months.

During the recent conversation with hltv.org, electronic revealed why GuardiaN failed in the lineup. He stated that GuardiaN’s Russian was a problem for him, and he couldn’t be focused on his crosshair because of this reason.

hltv.org asked:

“Did you add GuardiaN with long-term prospects or just for a handful of tournaments? Why didn’t it work out?”

electronic replied:

“We had planned for the long-term, but, unfortunately, due to issues with his Russian, it didn’t work out. When you try to recall how to communicate something quickly, you lose focus on the game.

He was too pensive and wasn’t always focused on his crosshair, and this possibly led to him frequently missing shots. He said that he understood everyone just fine and there weren’t any issues, but I felt differently.”

hltv.org asked:

“What were your thoughts on the addition of Perfecto?”

electronic said:

“I had no reservations about it. As for some of the other candidates that we didn’t end up signing, I did.”
