Oleksandr Kostyliev, known as “s1mple,” is a 23-year-old Ukrainian CS:GO player who has been playing for Natus Vincere since August 2016. Before that, he was playing for Team Liquid.

Last month, CS:GO community got shocked by the news that announcing the bans of lots of coaches who used an exploit to get an unfair advantage for their teams. And one of them was former Natus Vincere coach Sergei “starix” Ischuk.

While Astralis player Lukas “Gla1ve” Rossander was wondering why any players didn’t make any statement about the ban of their coaches, if they are innocent and didn’t know they were using the bug.

Later on, s1mple wanted to clear the air about his situation with the ban of starix, who used the bug in 2017 and replied to the tweet of Gla1ve.

In the post, s1mple stated that his team never got suspicious about anything about those days and didn’t even know coaches could be able to do this. Afterward, he swore that they didn’t know when starix used the exploit.

Here is what Gla1ve wrote:

“All players that doesn’t make public statements about them not knowing that their coach cheated is in my opinion guilty in knowing.”

s1mple replied:

“I can say that my team never suspected this bug and did not know that the coach could do this, you have my word.”

Gla1ve replied:

“I believe you for sure, and every other player that can say the same I will believe aswell. Hope we to get to grand final and play against you but long road ahead.”
