Natus Vincere’s s1mple: “This Is The Best Lineup I Have Played With”

Oleksandr Olehovych Kostyliev, known as “s1mple,” is a 23-year-old Ukrainian CS:GO player who has been playing under Natus Vincere jersey for over four and a half years. Previously, he was playing for Team Liquid.

s1mple spoke in a recent interview with hltv.org before debuting their first LAN event, IEM Cologne 2021, and the iconic player talked about their current performance as well as expectations from the squad.

In the conversation, s1mple pointed out that they have lots of confidence before playing on the stage and said that they also had proved their talent as individuals during the StarLadder CIS RMR as all the members got an ace.

Furthermore, s1mple revealed that this lineup is the best one he has ever played with and mentioned the consistency they have by saying that they have been in the top 5 teams in the world for the past few months.

Additionally, the Ukrainian AWPer praised the talent of Valerii “B1T” Vakhovskyi and said that he has such a good aim as his teammate Egor “flamie” Vasilev. But, B1T has much more motivation to improve his game compared to flamie.

s1mple said:

“Some new players need the experience. Before, it was Perfecto and Boombl4, now it’s B1T, but I think we’re doing great work and we have been in the top 5 for many months already.

I think we’re doing a great job and this is the best lineup I’ve played with. B1T has really good aim, like flamie had, but B1T is a younger player and he just needs more experience. He has more motivation to improve his game. He plays really good roles that we missed before, and he’s been practicing these roles.”

During the same interview, Natus Vincere’s coach Andrii “B1ad3” Gorodenskyi also talked about how confident they are for the IEM Cologne 2021 by saying that they didn’t use any timeouts to beat Gambit.

Later on, he also stated that Natus Vincere player are actually more relieved to play against Gambit Esports because they are kind of unknown players compared to Team Vitality, Astralis, and many more.
