Nathan Jordan Schmitt, known as “NBK,” is a 26-year-old French CS:GO player who had played for top-tier teams like Team Vitality, G2 Esports, and many more. Since December 2019, he has been representing OG Esports.

Unfortunately, NBK and OG Esports couldn’t live up to the expectations and underperformed in the tournaments, especially after the start of the online era following the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown restrictions.

Because of that, the organization decided to re-structure the roster and benched NBK as well as rifler Issa “ISSAA” Murad in 2021. However, the love of Counter-Strike didn’t make NBK stop grinding.

In March 2021, NBK stand in for orgless roster, Double Poney (DBL Poney), and they managed to qualify for Flashpoint 3 by beating up HAVU and Team LDLC. Also, they even beat up Team Vitality in the playoffs.

Even though NBK and Double Poney had great results together in a short period in the official matches, the deal he made with the organization ended and NBK announced his departure from DBL Poney.

Furthermore, the legendary French player also revealed that he is considering his options wisely and said that he is trying to be open-minded during this period to find the perfect organization for him.

Here is what NBK said:

“To make it clear, I am not playing with DBL Poney anymore since I was a stand-in.

I am back in a transition period where I am exploring what I want to do next and with who. Nothing is set and I’m taking an open-minded approach in order to find the right place to find success.”
