Nathan Jordan Schmitt, known as “NBK,” is a 26-year-old French CS:GO player who had played for top-tier teams like G2 Esports, Team Vitality, OG Esports, and more. Since March 2021, he has been standing in for Double Poney.

Mental Health Awareness Month has been observed every May in the United States of America since 1949, and the importance of this month increased due to the self-quarantine days. Also, it is one of the most important topics in the CS:GO scene for the past few years.

As you might already know, the players such as Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer Gustafsson, Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander, Andreas “Xyp9x” Højsleth, Aleksi “allu” Jalli, decided to take a step back because of the mental problems due to the busy schedule.

On the last day of Mental Health Awareness Month, NBK wanted to take attention to the importance of keeping your mental health safe. According to the French superstar, improving and learning about his mental health is one of the most impactful things in his career.

While mentioning how crucial and life-changing to improve your mental health, NBK also shared some free sources with the people who need help about this topic. In this way, NBK also showed how humble personality he is.

Here is what NBK said:

Being the last day of Mental Health Awareness Month, I wanted to add on how important it is to try to take care of that side of yourself – I’m a top pro for 11 years and improving and learning about my mental health is one of the most impactful thing that came from the past years.

If you want to have some free ressources, you can find some with Healthy Gamer or Gscience. I personally work with Kate O’Keeffe and couldn’t be happier for the progress we have made and for all the work to come. Those are hard times, just gotta power through it.”
