Since the release of Valorant last year, most of the community started to create controversy about the newest FPS game. While some of the players said it is the copycat of CS:GO, others praised the beauty of Valorant.

Furthermore, lots of the CS:GO players decided to switch to Valorant not only because of the money, but also they believed that the game is fun to play, refreshing, and has a huge potential in the future.

27-year-old French CS:GO player Nathan “NBK” Schmitt who had played for teams like Team Envy, G2 Esports, OG Esports, and more, also shared his opinion about Valorant during a recent appearance on Rivalry CS:GO.

In the conversation, the legendary player pointed out that Valorant is a bit overrated right now within the community even though it is not perfect, but it is pretty underrated in terms of the future of the game.

According to NBK, Valorant is not an amazing game right now compared to CS:GO, and that’s what make it overrated. However, he definitely thinks that Valorant will be a huge game in the future because Riot Games knows how to convert a game to a big esports scene.

Here is what NBK said:

“I think Valorant is a bit overrated as a game right now. Underrated into what is going to be in the next five to ten years. I think Riot knows how to make a game go big into esports level.

But I think that right now the game is not amazing. It’s a good game but it’s not on the level of Counter-Strike. So I’m looking forward to what they are going to do with the game in the future.”
