Ninjas In Pyjamas announced that “dennis” had benched because of health issues and “draken” was standing in for him from 11 March 2019 to 10 April 2019. Then, dennis came back to the roster. On 19 June, NIP announced that dennis has benched again. But the new player wasn’t draken. Nicolas “Plopski” Zamora has joined the roster.

Plopski said:

“I am extremely happy to be getting this opportunity. For me, this is a dream come true. Since I was a kid I have always liked this team and it has been my goal to play for them. I still can’t believe this. My ambition is to play CS:GO and be happy doing it for as many years as possible. I want to win, to keep getting to know amazing people and work harder than ever. I feel NiP is the perfect place for me to keep pursuing my goals. I can’t wait to start playing with these really talented players. I am sure I will learn a lot from them.”

Also coach Faruk “Pita” Pita said:

“Today we embark on the journey of transforming the Counter-Strike team. To maintain a position as a top tier team, changes to the roster are needed. We have very talented players, but the roles required on the team is something we have to change to make sure we perform at a stable level over time. I am excited to take on these changes with the first step of welcoming Plopski to the team.”

“As you probably already know i’ve been dropped from the squad. I was never the worst or second worst player in this 5-man squad statistically, that’s not why i had to go. The reason behind this is that we didn’t click and it’s just to hard playing without an IGL.When there’s no leader there’s to many question marks and that results in to many arguments which has impact on the game itself. I believe this is best for both parties, I can find a new home where i fit better and hopefully play with a real IGL. Wish them all the best in the future, especially Rez, one of the best teammates and players i’ve played with.”
Also a big thank you to NiP, Hicham and the crew.”
