Nicolai Hvilshøj Reedtz, known as “Dev1ce,” is a 26-year-old Danish CS:GO player who has been representing Ninjas In Pyjamas for over six months. Previously, he was playing for Astralis since 2016.

Ninjas In Pyjamas managed to become the first team in their group at IEM Fall 2021 while beating every single team the Nordic side faced, and they will be facing Movistar Riders tomorrow in the quarter-finals.

After the group stage ended, Dev1ce spoke in a recent interview with the Esports Kingdom and revealed his thoughts about their performances at IEM Fall 2021 as well as how other teams played in the group stage.

In the conversation, Dev1ce pointed out that Copenhagen Flames is the biggest surprise of the tournaments so far, which ended up winning all of their matches in the group stage and qualify for the playoffs.

While Dev1ce was saying that he is expecting Sinners to be successful in the playoffs, he also mentioned that Movistar Riders is also a great team and they won’t underestimate their opponents as well.

Dev1ce on the biggest surprise of the tournament:

I would say the biggest surprise is Copenhagen Flames.  Sinners I expected them to do really well.

Movistar Riders was up to the randomness of the format in my opinion, I think they’re good team, we’re facing them in the quarterfinals and we won’t underestimate them, but there are teams that would have succeeded better in my opinion in best-of-threes.

I think it’s a little bit sad, we’ve talked about it and it’s on Twitter as well. It’s the one tournament leading up to the major that decides like who’s gonna be there and we are playing it on bad terms, in my opinion.”

Later in the conversation, Dev1ce talked about his former team Astralis’ performance in the tournament and touched upon the fact that they are doing a really job considering Gla1ve is not with the roster.
