Adam Eccles, known as “ec1s,” is a 21-year-old British former CS:GO player who switched to Valorant back in April 2020. Since July 2021, he has been representing Ninjas In Pyjamas. Previously, he was playing for Team Liquid.

Even though Valorant is a brand new game, the developers are improving the game so quickly, and players’ thought is helping them significantly. Yesterday, ec1s brought a new idea by sharing a new post on his official Twitter account.

In the tweet, ec1s mentioned the possibility of a retake game mode in Valorant, which is pretty similar to CS:GO. As ec1s said, you can change agents and have different abilities for each round, which could be a perfect scenario.

In the retake game modes, players are experiencing an afterplant scenario where there are only few players left alive with such limited utility, as it would be in a competitive game, and it makes players to practice re-taking the bombsites.

By bringing such a feature into the game, Riot Games could make players to improve their clutch skills. Besides that, players can learn how to communicate while entering the bombsite as well as using utility at the same time.

ec1s on the new game mode:

“How sick would a retake game mode in Valorant be, you always change through agents in a comp and are given different util every round could be kinda clean.”
