North CS:GO Player Kjaerbye Saddens Community With A Coronavirus Announcement

Markus “Kjaerbye” Kjærbye is a 22-year-old Danish CS:GO player who has been representing North for over two years. Before that, he was playing for Astralis. In his career, he earned around $600.000 from the events.

On a recent Twitter post, Kjaerbye announced that he has been feeling sick lately and showing the symptoms of coronavirus for a while.

He stated that he couldn’t be able to play at the highest level because of problems like abdominal pains, breathing problems. Due to these reasons, he wanted to step down from the scene and saddened the community.

After seeing this update,  most of the fans, players, casters, and more, have shared their goodwill and prayers for the Kjaerbye, and they wished him to get well soon.

Here is what Kjaerbye said:

“Hey guys. Over the last couple of months I have experienced abdominal pains, breathing problems, and chest cramps, in such manner, that I have had problems playing the game I love on the highest level. I have come to a point, where I need to listen to my body and give it time to recover fully.

I don’t know when I will be back on the server but, I do know that I need a break. I want to thank my family, fans, and the North team and management for support and understanding.”

His teammate cajunb replied:

“Recover well buddy!”

Astralis player Magisk replied:

“God bless Mark. Health comes first!”

Former player Maniac wrote:

“It takes courage to make such a choice. It’s hard to put competition aside but you are right to listen to yourself and put your health first. Get some well deserved rest!”

Caster Semmler said:

“Take a good long break from social media and the internet, my dude. Hope you feel better soon.”
