NRG Esports Announces Valorant Roster Changes – Chet Steps Down

Chet “Chet” Singh is a 24-year-old American former CS:GO coach who had worked for teams like 100 Thieves, Evil Geniuses, NRG Esports, and more. Since October 2020, he had been coaching for NRG Esports’ Valorant team.

Yesterday, NRG Esports made a new statement on Twitter and announced Valorant roster changes as they part ways with Chet. Also, Chet took his official Twitter account to share his thoughts.

As NRG Esports said goodbye to their coach, Chet also mentioned that this decision has been made made last week. Furthermore, Chet revealed that he is looking for opportunities in both CS:GO and Valorant.

Here is the official announcement from NRG Esports:

“Today we mutually part ways with Chet Singh, Chet was fundamental in the creation of NRG Valorant. We thank you for everything you contributed to the #NRGFAM . We wish you all the best.”

Chet Singh said:

“Decided to step down as of last week. Going to explore my options in CS and Valorant.”
