Sébastien “Ceb” Debs is a 29-year-old French Dota 2 player who is considered one of the best players in the scene. Since 2018, he has been playing for OG Esports. Previously, he had coached for the organization.

In between October 7-17, the biggest tournament of the year in the Dota 2 scene, ‘The International’ will be held in Romania. The tournament has a $40.000.000 prize pool, which means that the winner will get $18.000.000.

About three days ago, Ceb revealed that the doctors found a critical problem on his left eye during the routine medical check-up, and there were only few hours before Ceb loses his eye. Therefore, the veteran player went under urgent surgery.

Even though the surgery went well, and they didn’t encounter any problem, it wasn’t certain if Ceb is going to play at ‘The International’ as the player announced on Twitter. However, it seems like his recovery process ended up faster than he thinks.

Yesterday, OG Esports announced via their official YouTube account that Ceb will be taking his part at ‘The International’ with his team and competing in the tournament despite his medical condition.

Here is the announcement from OG Esports:

“Once again proving himself as a role model of dedication to his craft, Ceb is gonna be playing TI10 despite his medical condition.
