Mateusz Wilczewski, known as “Mantuu,” is a 23-year-old Polish CS:GO player who has been playing under OG Esports jersey for over ten months. In his career, he earned only around $50.000 from the events.

Mantuu spoke in a recent interview with The Loadout and revealed his opinion about their current standings on the world rankings.

Back in the days, Mantuu stated that their goal to reach the top 5 teams in the world until the end of the year. Currently, OG Esports is in the 13th place behind Mousesports, 100 Thieves, and Complexity Gaming.

In the conversation, Mantuu stated that the online era which caused by the coronavirus outbreak is making the meta unstable right now. Furthermore, Mantuu said that they could be in the top 5 teams in the world if the LAN events return because they are playing better in the LAN tournaments.

Interviewer asked:

“In December last year when you signed for OG, you said you and the team were targeting a top five finish this year. You’re currently sitting at number 12 in the world rankings – what do you make of your year so far?”

Mantuu replied:

“With the whole coronavirus situation that has absolutely flipped the whole world around, I think it made all the teams in CS:GO right now really unstable. Every other week someone is number one. For the online season, we can hit the top ten and just go slowly lower down. I think once LAN returns we can hit top five, because I think we play better on LAN.

I’m still pleased with the rankings we have right now though.”
