Gabriel Mirelez, known as “LaXInG,” is a 24-year-old American Rainbow Six Siege player who has been playing under Oxygen Esports jersey for over a year. Before that, he was playing for Team Reciprocity and Cloud9.

As Oxygen Esports are pursuing their way through the Six Invitational 2021 playoffs, LaXIng wanted to pay his respect for their coaching staff and mentioned how important their role is into the team.

According to LaXInG, both Anthony “HOP3Z” Lee and Taylor “Redeemer” Mayeur are playing a huge role in their success at the tournament right now and said that people should give them more credits.

How Oxygen Esports Qualify For Six Invitational

In February 2021, Oxygen Esports decided to make roster changes to compete at higher level and parted ways with Khalil “b1ologic” Pleas and Spencer “Slashug” Oliver. At the same time, they announced the new additions.

As the North American organization signed young prodigies Evan “Yoggah” Nelson and Leonardo “Kyno” Figueiredo to the roster, the team started to show up themselves in the official matches.

At the 2021 season of the North American League Season 1, Oxygen Esports managed to collect 17 points to finish at the top of the standing over such great teams as Team SoloMid,  Spacestation Gaming, and more. After winning the tournament, Oxygen Esports collected enough points to invited to the Six Invitational 2021.

Oxygen Esports’ Success In Six Invitational

At the start of the tournament, Oxygen Esports couldn’t use to the LAN environment and managed to win only one match in two days. However, they managed to beat Spacestation Gaming, Giants, and Mkers on the last day.

With these results, Oxygen Esports were standing in the fourth place in the Group B, and they managed to qualify for playoffs. In the playoffs, Oxygen Esports faced against one of the strongest teams in the scene, Team Empire, on the upper bracket.

Although lots of people were thinking that Team Empire would smash the North American organization, Oxygen Esports proved themselves by winning over Empire with a clean sweep in a best-of-three. Today, Oxygen Esports will be facing MIBR, who beated up Team Liquid in the playoffs.

Here is what LaXInG said:

I just gotta say s/o to the coaching staff of HOP3Z & Redeemer. They’ve put in tons of work for both NAL and SI so far and it honestly plays a huge role in our success thus far! So please follow these guys, they deserve just as much hype and support from everyone!”
