Luke “Kendrew” Kendrew is a 21-year-old British Rainbow Six Siege player who has been playing under Natus Vincere jersey for over a year. In his career, he earned around $50.000 from the tournaments.

Kendrew took to his official Twitter account to share his opinion about the casters and made a controversial statement.

In the tweet, Kendrew stated that it is so disrespectful behaviour towards the players when casters says ‘what are you doing’ and said that it is a quick judgement on what might be a simple mistake. Also, he wished that they won’t use this term in the future.

Here is what Kendrew wrote:

“Maybe this is a hot take and might cause some controversy but I really really dislike when casters use the term ”what are you doing” I feel like its super disrespectful to the player and a quick judgement on what might be a simple mistake/play, wish it wasn’t used.”

Famous content creator and analyst z1ronic replied:

“What would you fill with if someone is clearly doing something confusing or wrong – at what point is it okay to criticise. Its not a bad take at all, but when is it okay and when is it not – the casters don’t sit in on the scrims, they aren’t champion players they are entertainers.”

Kendrew said:

“For me, it’s all about how its perceived, if I was to say to someone when playing ‘What are you doing?’ it would come across disrespectful and me insinuating I know better then them, i just feel like there is no room for that in a cast and there are much better ways to criticise.”

z1ronic wrote:

“Impossible for anyone to plan for how it is perceived. Just because someone takes something to the hearth does not mean anything bad was meant by it. And remember! the casters will sometimes share their opinion on things a bit too quick, just like the rest of the human race.”
