Rainbow Six Siege Player Pengu Reveals The Operator That Needs Rework

21 year old Danish superstar Niclas “Pengu” Mouritzen has been playing for G2 Esports since 2018. On 7 June, he said that Montagne should have reworked and explains why.

Pengu said:

“I personally believe the next operator to face a rework/change HAS to be montagne, he wins 90% of melees due to animation interaction, can hipfire from any distance ( RNG ) and can be extended FOREVER with no proper counter, post plant he wins over 75% of the time”

Pengu’s solution:

“Easy solution is a change to how melee works ( wont do 100+ dmg ( instakill ) remove the hipfire entirely and or give him the clash treatment where melees punish his shield, the last alteration would be vigil/cav gadget style where its a limited time he can be extended for. This solves the main issue with monty: he is TOO hard to punish when he makes a mistake, he will rarely die despite making a huge error, yet gets rewarded for very little effort/risk
