Ubisoft had been teasing about the upcoming operation, ‘Crystal Guard,’ as well as the new operator ‘Osa.’ Yesterday, the developers finally revealed the changes that we will see in the new operation.

In the announcement, Ubisoft unveiled that there will be changes on Bank, Coastline, and Clubhouse maps. Moreover, the armor feature will be replaced by health. Since the new season starts, three armor operators will have 125, two-armors 110, and single armor operators will have 100 health.

Furthermore, the developers decided to rework Twitch, IQ, Mute, and Fuze for the next operation. While Twitch is now able to use a standard drone in the preparation phase, her Shock Drone is now jumping as the casual drones and destroys the gadgets instead of disabling them.

In addition to that, IQ is now available to ping electronic devices through her gadget, and Mute’s Signal Disruptor is not spherical instead of cylindrical. Also, it will be lighted up when active in the area.

As for the last rework, Ubisoft decided to buff Fuze by making his gadget deployable on the reinforced walls as well. However, the grenades will take additional time to be released from the reinforced walls compared to the soft walls.

Here are the operator reworks via Ubisoft:

  • Twitch
    • Twitch now drives a standard drone during the Preparation Phase. Her Shock Drone is equipped during the Action Phase. It now jumps and fires lasers that destroy opponent devices instead of disabling them.
  • IQ
    • IQ’s Electronics Detector is now equipped with the Ping System 2.0, allowing her to identify and ping electronic devices through walls, including those held by Operators, like the counter defuser and Vigil’s ERC-7.
  • Mute
    • The area of effect for Mute’s Signal Disruptor is now spherical instead of cylindrical, and the device lights up when active.
    • The area of effect is displayed for 2.5 seconds after deployment is complete.
  • Fuze
    • Fuze’s Cluster Charge can now be deployed on reinforced surfaces. When triggered, the sub-grenades take additional time to pass through reinforced surfaces, whereas they instantly pass through soft surfaces.

Additionally, Ubisoft decided to remove SMG-11 from Sledge’s kit, 2.0 and 2.5 scopes from Iana’s weapons. Also, they decided to buff Glaz and Finka slightly. While Glaz received 5 more bullet in his weapon, Finka got frag grenades in her kit.
