Rumor: G2 Esports Consider Adding FaZe’s Niko To Their CS:GO Roster

According to the reports from hltv.org, G2 Esports is considering to add FaZe Clan player Nikola “NiKo” Kovač, who is the cousin of Nemanja “huNter” Kovač, and this move will be happining by the end of the year.
As you might remember, FaZe Clan added former player Markus “Kjaerbye” Kjærbye in August with high hopes. However, they couldn’t perform well since then. They eliminated in both cs_summit 6 Online: Europe and ESL One: Cologne 2020 Online – Europe.
On the other hand, G2 Esports reached the number one spot in the world rankings, but the downfall started for the organization afterward. Since March, they couldn’t get any victory from the events, even though they reached out to the finals three times.
Following these bad results, G2 Esports is probably thinking about increasing the firepower of the roster by adding niko, and the most possible replacement will be François “AmaNEk” Delaunay for the European roster.
If the rumor comes true, G2 Esports roster will be:
Kenny “kennyS” Schrub
Audric “JaCkz” Jug
Nemanja “nexa” Isaković
Nemanja “huNter” Kovač
Nikola “NiKo” Kovač
