Michael Grzesiek, known as “Shroud,” is a 27-year-old Canadian former CS:GO player who had been playing for Cloud9 in between 2014-2017. Afterward, he decided to retire from competitive Counter-Strike.

Before even becoming full-time streamer, Shroud also known for his content during his days in CS:GO, and his popularity rose up after becoming a full-time streamer as he played lots of PUBG during this period.

Right now, he has been hosting the North American Valorant Champions Tour tournaments on his channel and reviewing the matches with his followers besides playing games such as Valorant, PUBG, and more.

During one of the streams, one of the fans asked when he wants to retire from his streaming career, and Shroud revealed that he will never quit streaming and creating content ever while explaining why.

According to Shroud, there is no reason for him to quit streaming right now. Shroud said that he will continue streaming as long as his followers are interested in watching his content and support him.

Furthermore, Shroud also pointed out that it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him streaming for another ten to fifteen years because he loves gaming and even making money from it as doing his dream job.

Here is what Shroud said:

“I’ll never retire. As long as you guys are here and interested and watching me, I will never quit. There’s just no reason for me to quit.

As long as I’m making money, and I make money with you guys being here, I keep doing it. I wouldn’t be surprised if I’m here for another 10, 15 years, maybe more. I play video games for a living; it’s the easiest job ever.

Look, I’m not even playing. Free content, I’m watching… I might be 80-years-old and need a nurse to help me, and I’ll still be gaming.”
