Michael Grzesiek, known as “Shroud,” is a 27-year-old Canadian former CS:GO player who is known for his time with Cloud9 between 2014-2017. After retiring from the game, he created content for the organization for about a year.

Then, Shroud created his own brand and started to become more popular within the gaming community, and they even gave him the nickname ‘King Of The Reddit.’ Right now, he is one of the most-watched FPS streamers in the world.

During Shroud’s recent stream, the Canadian player was playing Valorant, and he found himself in a 1v3 situation while he was playing Skye. After getting the clutch, he pointed out that Phantom is the main reason how he was able to win the round.

Shroud was playing as a defender on Haven, and he was trying to retake the A Bombsite against three enemies. At first, Shroud flashed the bombsite twice and tried to get a pick from the defender’s entrance.

However, there was a Sage wall in front of him, so he decided to take a step back and gather information with Skye’s Trailblazer. Then, he killed the imposter Skye who was sitting under the window.

Afterward, the enemy Sage revived Skye and tried to hold the angle on Shroud along with Sova. Unfortunately for them, Shroud was good enough to take three of them once again and won the round for his team.

Shroud said the clutch only happened thanks to the Phantom:

“The phantom is just better.”
