American former Rainbow Six Siege player Justin Woods, known as “Lycan” had played for teams like Risky Gaming, OnSlaught eSports and more. Since March 2018, he has been working for Spacestation Gaming as a coach.

On 25 December, he said that Ubisoft should invite the G2 Esports for the Six Invitational 2020. This month, G2 Esports couldn’t play well and got eliminated from the tournament.

Lycan said:

“Anyone who is asking for any other team than G2 to get the invite is honestly just hoping against what should happen and they know it. Sure you can always make your point, but fact of the matter is it should go to G2. That’s my TED talk”

A fan named Christmas Stan replied:

“give apac equal representation”

Lycan replied:

“I’ll agree with that when I see it to be true. I have seen a decline in recent APAC play.”

Another fan, named J1ffrey said:

“But G2 didn’t win anything”

Lycan:

“Who’s won something that deserves the spot?”
