One of the greatest talents in the CS:GO community, Braxton Pierce, known as “Swag,” is a 23-year-old American player who had played for iBUYPOWER, GX, Swole Patrol, Lazarus Esports and many more.

A few days ago, Swag has shared a post on his official Twitter account and announced his retirement. Also, he mentioned that he will be waiting for Riot’s FPS game, Project A, to reach his goals.

Here is what Swag wrote:

“I am no longer with Swole Patrol. I have decided to take a step back from competitive CS and although I may still stream CS in the future, my main goal is to await the release of Project A and put my ambitions of being the best in the world to fruition.

Thank you, everyone, for your support and I hope you guys will continue to support my journey! It’s been a fun 8 years, and 22k hours from 1.6 to GO (yikes, but I don’t regret any of it)”

Gen.G Esports player daps replied:

“Best of luck brax 👍”

Swedish player draken said:

“Good luck bro wish you the best”

MIBR player TACO replied:

“Best of luck Brax and thank you for everything!”

Brazilian legend FalleN wrote:

“Gl legend. Big loss for all of us. You deserved better but we will be following you no matter what”
