T1 is one of the best organizations in the world that started to be known for their success in League Of Legends. They have been dominating the game for over two years that nobody could stand against them.

However, things aren’t going well for them for a year. Since they win LCK Spring 2020, they couldn’t find success in both LCK Summer 2020 and LCS Spring 2021. Following such results, they wanted to make roster changes.

Therefore, the organization decided to part ways with their head and main coach of the League Of Legends roster, Yang “Daeny” Dae-in and Lee “Zefa” Jae-min as Son “Stardust” Seok-hee and Kim “Moment” Ji-hwan took their places.

Furthermore, T1 revealed that they still have high hopes for the rest of the season and said that they are aiming to qualify for the League Of Legends World Championship after finishing LCK Summer 2021 in a strong position.

The new coaching staff played their debut match in today’s match against KT Rolster, in which T1 ended up winning 2-0 and built up confidence for the rest of the split.

Here is the official announcement from T1:

“T1 has terminated the contracts of ‘Daeny’ and ‘Zefa’ after careful consideration and internal evaluation over the past few months. We are making this change at this point in an effort to reinvigorate our team’s chances of success with 8 games remaining.

We thank both of ‘Daeny’ and `Zefa’ for their contribution and wish them the best in the future.  We still have high hopes to finish strong in the LCK and earn a spot in Worlds. Please continue to support our team. Thank you.

‘Stardust’ and ‘Moment’ will coach the team for the rest of the Summer. Let’s support the two coaches!
