Lee Sang-hyeok, known as “Faker,” is a 25-year-old South Korean League Of Legends player who has been playing under T1 jersey for over eight years. In his career, he earned over $1.400.000 from the events.

T1 managed to secure the LCK Summer 2021 finals as they edge out SANDBOX Gaming and Gen.G Esports to meet DAMWON Gaming. After their victory against Gen.G Esports, Faker shared his thoughts about the final in the post-match interview.

In the conversation, Faker pointed out that they can prepare more comfortably against DAMWON Gaming for the finals since they easily won against Gen.G Esports and said that the match won’t be difficult if they prepare it well.

Furthermore, Faker explained why he thinks their match against Gen.G Esports will be actually harder than the finals and mentioned the busy schedule that prevented them to prepare for Gen.G Esports.

As Faker said, he made lots of mistakes in the match versus Gen.G Esports, which will be minimized if they prepare well. Faker stated that they will have about a week to prepare against DAMWON Gaming and this is why it would be easier to play in the finals.

Faker on facing DAMWON Gaming:

I thought today’s match will be more difficult. Since we got through today well, I think I’ll be able to prepare more comfortably for our finals against DWG KIA. If we prepare well, I don’t think it’ll be too difficult.

I thought it’ll be harder to maintain my best form in today’s match against Gen.G. There were many plays that were regretful for me today. Also, there wasn’t that much time to prepare for today’s match because of the schedule. We’ll have a week to prepare for the finals now”

Later in the conversation, Faker shared his feelings about qualifying for League Of Legends Worlds Championship once again and said that he wants to provide a great performance in the tournament.
