Lee Min-hyeong, known as “Gumayusi,” is a 19-year-old South Korean League Of Legends player who has been representing T1 since November 2019. Previously, he was a trainee for the organization.

Gumayusi talked about his passion for League Of Legends, their current performances in LCK, and what we could expect to see from them in Worlds, during a recent interview with Korizon Esports’ Ashley Kang.

In the conversation, Gumayusi mentioned that he and his support player Ryu “Keria” Min-seok are the best bot laners in the world right now and said that they are hoping to prove that in the League Of Legends World Championship.

Furthermore, Gumayusi pointed out that he doesn’t have any excitement about facing a special bot lane duo because he believes that if they play the laning phase right, they can beat everybody pretty easily.

Later on, Gumayusi also shared his opinion about the recent topic about which region has the bot laners in the world, and he mentioned that he doesn’t really watch other regions so he can’t really comment on their performances.

Ashley Kang asked:

“So, are you confident about worlds?”

Gumayusi replied:

“I did say this in another interview. I believe I and Keria is the strongest bot duo in the entire world right now. And I hope we get to prove this statement at worlds.

There isn’t a particular bot lane that I’m really “wary” of me. If I and Keria are able to just focus on playing at our best, then I can see us beating anyone out there.”
