Russian Esport organization Team Empire announced that Andrey “KaHT” Shulgin left the team and Timur “Ahilles” Kulmukhambetov added as a coach.

Team Empire’s Esport Director StrangeR said:

“A trip to the Paris Major was extremely helpful in terms of information. The difficulties that team faced are understandable and solvable. After the tournament i spoke with our current coach — KaHT, and we came to the conclusion that at the moment he can’t help the team in further developing and solving problems, therefore it was decided to suspend our cooperation. Andrei worked with us since the Empire Hope roster and did a lot for the team, especially for young players, I want to thank him a lot. I think it was a successful experience for both parties.

Ahilles is appointed as a new coach. Timur doesn’t have high-profile achievements in Dota 2, but he is well-known among professional players. In addition, Ahilles knows the players of our team well, and most recently became the champion of Russia with Kodos, Maden and sayuw. The primary task of the new coach will be to optimize the training process and work on drafts. I’m confident that both professional and life experience of Timur will allow him to cope with the tasks”

New coach Ahilles said:

“It is a great honor to join such a renowned organization as Team Empire. I hope for productive work with the guys to achieve big goals”

Team Empire is now:

Kiyalbek “dream” Tayirov

Konstantin “Kodos” Kogai

Igor “Maden” Modenov

Oleg “sayuw” Kalenbet

Rinat “KingR” Abdullin

Timur “Ahilles” Kulmukhambetov (coach)
